Code of conduct
Nine rules stand behind every listing removal, hidden rating comment and account ban on tregonomi.com. The terms cover the legal relationship; this page covers behaviour.
Nothing illegal.
Do not offer, ask for or arrange anything the law forbids where you or the buyer are. Illegal items and activity are removed and can end your account.
Only what the terms allow.
Some legal things still cannot be listed here. The terms list them; a listing for one is removed.
Describe it truthfully, in the right category.
Photographs, description, price and condition must match the item, and the listing must sit in the category it belongs to.
No fraud.
Do not ask for payment in advance, send fake payment confirmations, or pretend to be somebody else. We ban accounts for it.
No spam or repeats.
One listing per item. Do not repost the same listing, advertise elsewhere in messages, or fill ratings with the same text.
Treat people with respect.
No threats, harassment, insults or hate, in listings, messages or ratings.
Keep other people's data private.
Do not publish anyone's phone number, address, photograph or other personal details without their permission.
Ratings are about the deal.
A rating describes how the sale went. It is not the place for anything else.
Repeated breaches end an account.
Each breach may be forgiven; a pattern of them is not.
